Back by popular demand is the SSR Contraceptive Symposium Series!




Join the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR) on November 1, 2022, from 9-11am EDT for the first webinar in the series on Developing New Methods for Testing, Studying, and Delivering Contraception. Speakers include Dr. Jianjun Sun, associate professor, department of physiology & neurobiology, University of Connecticut and Dr. Phil Santangelo, associate professor of biomedical engineering, Georgia Tech University & Emory University.


Attendees will hear Dr. Sun and Dr. Santangelo discuss the importance for developing new methods for testing, studying, and delivering contraception, with Dr. Sun presenting “Screening female contraceptive compounds using Drosophila ovulation model and Dr. Santangelo discuss intravaginal delivery of mRNA encoded contraceptive antibodies.


Join the SSR on November 8, 2022, from 6-8 pm EDT, for the second webinar on New Non-hormonal Contraceptive Targets with speakers Dr. Lonny R. Levin, professor of pharmacology, Weill Cornell Medical College and Dr. Celia Santi, associate professor of OBGYN, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
