The Center for Global Reproductive Health at Duke University will launch several events this spring, including a Spring Speaker Series that began with a presentation from FHI 360's Kate Rademacher and Rebecca Callahan on the topic of Contraceptive Product Development and Introduction. The recording from that presentation can be accessed here.
The Center's Working Group for Sexual and Reproductive Health is also hosting a research symposium to highlight important SRH issues and connect students to potential opportunities for engagement. A full breakout room will be dedicated to research in contraceptive technology and family planning, including short presentations from Heather Vahdat ( Male Contraceptive Initiative), Katherine Tumlinson (UNC Gillings School & Carolina Population Center), Eleanor Stevenson (Duke School of Nursing), and Sumi Ariely (DGHI faculty). The SRH Research Symposium will take place via Zoom on Friday, March 19th from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. EST. Registration is now open here.
