Selected practice recommendations for contraceptive use -- 3rd edition 2016

This publication from the World Health Organization (WHO) offers guidance to health care workers on how to provide contraceptives, with the goal of maximizing effectiveness and managing side effects and other problems. Published in 2016, the document contains recommendations ranging from when to start a method, how to manage problems women experience using certain methods, and what clinical exams to perform before a method can be initiated. It a companion guide to WHO's Medical Eligibility Criteria (MEC).
